ADOPTED
Here is Freddie (formal name is Frederick but known at adoption as Freckles) for the website. Freddie is an absolute delight. I am not entirely sure why he was given up but he was clearly well trained and cared for before coming to me. His temperament is extremely pleasant. I think, for Freddie, heaven is regular long walks and treats; any treat will do - even low-fat. He interacts well with both adults and children. Although I haven't been successful in curing him of his separation anxiety (perhaps the reason he was given up?), we've made some progress and have been managing rather well. Freddie has totally charmed my extended family including those who do not like dogs. I've noticed that he has been so good for some of their spirits that I am seriously considering arranging for him to visit residents in a senior citizen home. I am quite pleased when neighbors comment on how happy a dog he seems and am proud to be able to give him a very good life.
Sometime ago Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue, Inc. provided me with some insight on the separation anxiety. I thank you for your help.
