Kellie 

Hi,

 

My new mommy got your letter so I thought I would let you know about my new house.  My name was Raven when I was adopted but my Mommy calls me Kellie.  I have a sister named Katie who is red (Mommy says she is a Golden Retriever) and 13 years old.  She plays sometimes but has arthritis so sometimes she just wants to lay down.  We all  live in a nice apartment.  I don't have a crate but have run of the house.  I have lots of toys to play with.  Mommy said she would buy me my own bed but I like sleeping with Mommy on her bed (I have my very own blanket). 

 

I have several new aunts; Aunt MaryBeth who loves doggies kisses and pets me alot and Aunt Barbara who likes to cuddle but isn't crazy about doggie kisses.  (Aunt Barbara has a black Cocker Spaniel).  I also have an Aunt Becki and Uncle John David.  They live upstairs and Aunt Becki comes and takes me outside sometimes when Mommy is at work.  They have a little white doggie named Bandit and I get to visit their house and we play.  It's really fun.  We run around and around chasing each other.  I also have a Grandma and Grandpa.

 

I was nervous when I first came to live with my new Mommy but she keeps reminding me even if she has to leave to go to work she will always come back.  Katie is always there with me too.

 

My new Mommy is a real cuddler so I get lots of hugs and kisses and she really seems to love me alot. We cuddle on the bed at night before we go to sleep and I am welcome in her lap anytime I want.   She took me to the doctor and I was fine.  The doctor showed Mommy how to clean my ears so I don't have problems.  Then the doctor gave me treats.

 

I have been here a little over three weeks and really like my new family.  I am glad Mommy found me.  I know I will be here always.
