Lady Alexandria of Kingstowne, or Alex, was loved by everyone and loved us all back!  Hers was unconditional love and was our best friend from the day she came into our lives at 8 weeks old.  At 17 1/2 years old, Alex was for many years, challenged by many health issues including heart problems, intestinal bowel disease and the latest being diagnosed with lymphoma last October for which she had chemo treatments through February and was on a maintenance plan each week thereafter.  But she defied odds and kept on going and her stamina and energy put the energizer bunny to shame.   She was remarkable and beautiful.  She was a sweetheart!

 

I will miss our daily walks (cigar in hand) and the walks/runs on the beach at our condo but she will be always with us.

 

Our little girl was our family and I can't begin to tell how she is missed already.  But she will now always feel good, always be warm and will always sleep restfully!  She remains with us and in our hearts forever, she was our family!
