Ginger was born the day after Valentine's Day in 2009, making her 3 years old. She came to us when her owner became too ill to care for her. She was a bit scraggly-looking, but after a shave-down and bath, she is one gorgeous dark buff girl.
Our vet reports that she had a great exam -- even her ears are good! -- and she breezed through her spay and dental. This young lady is good as new! (Is there such a thing as New Dog Smell? There should be!)
Ginger is crate-trained and housebroken. She thrives on canine company, so we're looking for a home where she can have a sibling. A yard where she can run and play would also be tops on her list. Her previous home was adults-only, so Ginger may do better in a home with adults (and teens) than with young ones.
Wouldn't a forever home make a great birthday present for this girl?
