Donate by Mail
Your donations are greatly appreciated and have helped thousands of dogs on their way to forever homes over the years! OBG is an all volunteer, non-profit organization, which means your donations go directly toward the care of our dogs. We rely on your support to help us with the cost of the care and rehabilitation of our dogs; the adoption fees do not come close to covering these expenses. Major expenses include vetting, grooming, and kenneling (which we must do when we have more dogs than foster homes).
When you send OBG a check, even more of your donation goes to the dogs since we don't have any pesky online processing fees - so there's something to be said for doing it the old fashioned way!
Checks can be made out to:

Checks can be mailed to:

PO Box 30821

*Note: OBG does not have a physical shelter/facility. This is only a PO Box.
If you wish, please use the memo field to specify which dog, special fund or other designation to which you'd like your donation to be applied. If you are making a donation in memory/honor of a person or dog and would like us to notify someone, please enclose a note with their name and address.
Giving For Tomorrow (GiFT)
Giving for Tomorrow is a pledge-based way to donate to OBG. It's a win-win because you get to donate gradually and we don't have to worry about "where our next paycheck" is coming from, so we can focus 100% of our time and energy on caring for the dogs.
There are two easy ways to participate by check:
1. If you do online banking, you can set up a recurring "Bill Pay" to OBG and your bank will cut a check to OBG for a designated amount and designated frequency. This transaction is entirely between you and your bank, then OBG receives a paper check from you in the mail.
2. If you prefer, simply write a check and mail in your monthly pledge the old fashioned way!
As with all donations to OBG Cocker Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit, your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowable by the law; please consult your tax advisor for details.
