Maximus

Hi! My name is Maximus, but my friends call me Max. I'm an 8-year-old, super-cool looking Cocker mix (if I do say so myself). Check out my pics! I have beautiful silky blond hair and eyes that will melt your heart. I am a bit short in the legs department, but I think that's part of my charm. Wouldn't you agree?

I arrived at my foster home in mid February. Remember how cold it was? Brrr! I liked being in the nice warm house where I could hibernate. I did not like going out to walk in the cold. Foster mom thought maybe I was a low-energy, old man dog since I slept so much. But the other day I went outside and it smelled like Spring!! I was so happy that I ran around the school field forever. Foster mom was so surprised at how much energy I had when the weather was nice.

I am housebroken and very laid-back in the house. My crate is my favorite place to chill out because it has a nice comfy blanket in it. But if I'm invited up on the couch with humans, that's heaven! Snuggles and petting! I enjoy time with my doggie foster brothers and I love making new friends - dog and human. Everyone likes me instantly because I'm such a great guy. My foster brothers love tennis balls and stuffed animals, but I like rawhide better. Sometimes I like to carry it around the house with me.
