Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue

Pinot

Adult | Male | Adopted

Pinot is one of the "Be Mine Nine," a group of Cockers that previously lived with a backyard breeder in rural Virginia. These dogs were living in squalid conditions and most hadn't seen a vet or a groomer in five years. Some are blind, others were sick, but all are total sweethearts that deserve a second chance.

When he arrived at OBG, Pinot had two mature cataracts that were obscuring nearly all his vision. After surgery, he is now able to see again from both eyes! He's so happy to be running around with other dogs, able to see his world again. His foster parents are finishing up his regiment of post-op eye drops, which he tolerates begrudgingly. They report that he is a sweetheart without a single mean bone in his body.

He loves snuggling up on the couch with whatever member of his foster family - human or canine - happens to be up there. He is very curious about cats and just wants to smell his feline foster siblings, but they keep running away. He doesn't understand why they won't let him sniff them! All in all, Pinot has a stellar personality and will fit into just about any home.
