Ainsley is one of the "Be Mine Nine," a group of Cockers that previously lived with a backyard breeder in rural Virginia. These dogs were living in squalid conditions and most hadn't seen a vet or a groomer in five years. Ainsley received a full workup at Crosspointe Animal Hospital and is one of the first Be Mine Nine to be healthy enough to go to a foster home! YAY, AINSLEY!

This sweet and shy girl is spayed and up-to-date on her shots. She loves to cuddle up on the couch with her foster Mom. Ainsley is learning about all the things that life in a house entails. She's a little skittish about new sights and sounds but her foster parents are helping her work through her fears. Snuggling up in the cozy blankets on the bed is one of her favorite things and her foster family reports that she's growing braver day by day.  Baby steps, Ainsley!

The perfect home for Ainsley is one that is quiet, without a lot of hustle and bustle. Working with a positive trainer will help alleviate her fears. We recommend reading fearfuldogs.com as a primer on helping build a fearful pup's confidence. Ainsley would be best as an only dog but would be fine with feline companions, as she ignores cats. If you're looking for a companion that only wants to snuggle up and love on you and be loved by you, Ainsley is your girl.
