Isn't she a stunning girl? This petite beauty survived for three months at a high-kill shelter because the director loved her so much that she kept Carrot in the office rather than in the kennels!

Five-year-old Carrot is on the smaller side, only 17 pounds, and she just loves to be carried and doted upon by people. She spent a couple days in a temporary foster home before moving to our vet's office and she got along well with the other dogs there. As of yet, we do not know how Carrot feels about cats or children.

Carrot had a mature cataract in one eye and had surgery in early May. The surgery was a success and now she is ready for daily walks in her forever home. Her temporary foster reports that despite her petite size, she's quite the jumper, especially when there's someone to snuggle with on the couch. Won't you bring this cutie home to snuggle with you?
