Trevor

A high-kill shelter called us about a Cockapoo that needed rescue. While Trevor certainly has curly hair, we think he may be some sort of Lab/Terrier/Poodle mix. Cute as can be, though, so we had to take him!

Trevor is 3-4 months old and currently weighs 25 pounds. Our vet estimates that he will be around 50 pounds when full grown. His skin was in horrible shape when we got him and he had to be relieved of dozens of ticks that were sucking his blood. Ew! Can you imagine the relief he must have felt once they were all removed?

In his foster home, Trevor is active and playful with the other dogs, but is equally happy sitting at the feet of the people. He loves children and is gentle with them, but as he gets larger, he may accidentally knock smaller children over. We have not yet tested him with cats. Since Trevor is currently recovering from a UTI, we're unable to say for sure if he's housebroken.

This smart boy is ready to fly through Puppy Kindergarten. In his foster home, he's already learned how to sit for treats, to wait for his meals, and whenever he wants something. After a Basic Manners class, Trevor is going to shape up to be a wonderful family member.
