Mercy

Hello world! My name is Mercy and I'm a 10-year-young chocolate cutie.  Are you looking for an easy-going, but active, second dog?  Or maybe just a darling experienced pet?  Look no further - here I am!

I found myself bunking at a local animal shelter after my previous family's living situation changed. I wasn't too fond of the place so fortunately an angel from OBG swooped in and brought me here. Now I'm looking for a family who will love me just as much as I will love them!

My ideal forever home would have nice couches on which I could relax.  I really enjoy snuggling with my human and getting belly rubs.  I am house trained, and I let you know I need to go out by barking at the door.  I do my business immediately when taken outside.  I am a quick learner, and while I haven't ever been taught many commands, I offer a "sit" frequently.

I'm lovin life in my foster home.  I get along just fine with the resident cats and my calm cocker sibling.  I love to shower foster mom with lots of kisses and snuggle a lot.  She doesn't seem to mind my constant presence on her lap, especially as the temps get colder!  I love to go for long walks and chasing squirrels in the back yard is always a blast.
