On Saturday, July 25th, OBG Cocker Rescue facilitated the rescue of 46 dogs off of a property in Virginia.  These dogs were living in a hot barn without anyone to give them proper exercise or keep their water dishes filled.  They are now safe with OBG vets and getting the care and attention they need.

My name is Bobby!  I am a very cute buff and white parti boy.  Like a true gentleman, I don't often discuss age, but I'm believed to be around 8 years old.  I am so happy to be here at OBG. When I arrived I was really skinny and weighed just 17 pounds. Now after some time of good food, I am nearly 20 pounds and you can't see my ribs anymore. I am quiet handsome and I am very sweet.  I freely shower folks with kisses!

I am currently living with three OBG alums and I like them pretty much, but I think I might like to be someone's one and only pup. You see, I was on my own for a while and then in that barn and I just love to be with my humans.  I also love to go on walks and do that pretty well when my Foster Mom puts a harness on me. I love meeting new humans on our walks, but I'm not always sure about other dogs especially big dogs. They scare me a little. Then I love to snuggle with her when we get home.  I wish she could be home with me most of the time, but I just sleep when she isn't.

I am very good boy in the house and have free roam with my foster siblings. After everything I have been through, I do not like the crate but I'm sure you can understand! I know to go outside to do my business and happily come back in for a treat. I love treats! I also like to play with toys and will pick up and throw a toy and rush to go get it. Maybe I can learn to play fetch with you?

I went to see OBG's special eye doctor and the ulcer is healing nicely. I have something called dry eye and get drops twice a day but I don't mind getting them at all.  My dry eye may improve with eating good food so will get rechecked in another month. If I do need eye drops forever, the medicine is pretty inexpensive ($60) and lasts several months.

If you think you would be good match for me, send my foster family an email at the link below!
