Please help us welcome Astro, who came to America all the way from Egypt!!  Can you believe this handsome hunk flew the friendly skies for 16 hours to reach us?!  He's a wonderful boy so we are very happy we can help him find lasting love.  You see, this 6.5 year old fella developed a severe skin and ear condition that vet's could not diagnose.  Because of this, he became mostly an outdoor pet, especially when a new baby arrived.  His owners loved him but needed to find him a better life.  In Egypt, the chances were slim, his options were a farm or potentially being euthanized.  A Good Samaritan couldn't let that happen, so she did some fundraising to get him all the way to OBG!

Astro is a pretty awesome boy.  He LOVES to play fetch and whenever he meets someone he will immediately grab it to start a play session (check out his video)!  He's great with other dogs and kids and likes to snooze on his humans bed, if welcome.  He's housebroken and such a happy little soul. 

This guy tips the scales at 49.5 pounds!  He does have a large frame but needs to shed about 10 pounds.  The vet is treating his ears and skin.  He's doing very well and may not even need to see the doggie dermatologist.  Are you looking for a cute, stocky boy to snuggle and play with?   If so, you don't want to miss out on this international traveler!!  Ask to meet Astro today!
