Buddy Boy

Hello, my name is Buddy Boy.  The first 8-9 years of my life were spent with my BFF, Sparky and with an owner who loved us very much.  Sadly, our owner developed health issues and could no longer care for us so we were turned into an animal shelter.  I hear that bad things can happen to dogs that don't get adopted, so I was super happy when OBG saved both me and Sparky.  Even better, the nice folks at OBG have promised that they will keep Sparky and I together since we love each other so much.

I'm a really outgoing boy and have never met a stranger.  So, if we meet, be prepared to get lots of kisses.  I like children and I get along with other dogs and cats.  I walk nicely on a leash, have good house manners and I'm housebroken. I have a playful side and really love to chase tennis balls.  I also enjoy playing with Sparky.  When I'm not playing, I like to cuddle on a lap and at night, I like to sleep in the bed close to my favorite people.

Losing my long-time home has made me a little nervous when people leave the house.  I'm not destructive, but I do bark sometimes when left, so I would probably do best living in a single family home.  Also, my hearing is not perfect, but foster mommy says that is nice beause I'm not barking at every little noise like some dogs do!
