Lone Ranger

Lone Ranger is a 4-year-old black, tan and white beagle mix (an honorary cocker).  His world was recently turned upside down when his owner passed away and he was dropped at a high-kill shelter.  He is a very sweet gentleman and a shelter volunteer ensured he made it out of the shelter to find love once again.   He's being brave and trusting and won the hearts of many long distance transporters who drove him here from rural Virginia.

LR is quiet, so easy to handle and has beautifully thoughtful eyes.  He seemed totally at ease among all the dogs, cats, and people he encountered on his freedom rides.  He rode great in the car, took treats softly, and walked well on his leash.  He is very appreciative of every kind glance and sweet word that comes his way.
