Jacob

Hi, Everyone!  My name is Jacob, though, seriously, you'd think they would have named me Tuxedo since it looks like I'm wearing one all the time.  I'm a super unique combination that has everyone stumped -- my previous owner said a Tibetan Spaniel; the shelter said I was a cocker mix; and the vet said maybe even a bit of retriever, too!  I'm not exactly sure, but I just know that I'm a 5 year old, 25 pound SUPER cutie!

I was scared in the shelter at first, but I've really come into my own since landing with OBG.  I am beautifully house-trained and will only do my business on grass. I enjoy hanging out in my crate when no one is home. And I walk pretty well on a leash, though I will try to chase anything that moves too fast - like runners, cyclists, squirrels - so you gotta keep a leash on me at all times.  (I chase cats too, so I'd probably do best in a home without them).   Although foster canines brothers are nice enough, my ideal forever home is where I can be the only one with an experienced dog owner.   My forever owner will need to work with me on my territorial concerns and show me that I don't always need to be protective of my favorite person.  As a bonus, I would be super happy in the suburbs with a fenced yard and a nice calm household.
