Shortstop

Meet Shortstop!  Shortstop is named in honor of the World Series and his short little legs.  Shortstop is a very mellow little guy.  He loves to explore the yard, the house, and anywhere else accessible to him.  At night he sleeps in his little bed but is very alert.  He will react to noises, so an apartment may not be the best choice for him.  He likes to play with other dogs, and his temp foster home had four other doggie siblings. 

Shortstop is learning his new name, and although he still does not come when called, when he sees his foster he will run right up to her.  He is easy to pick up and loves to sit on laps. Shortstop loves being held like a baby and will nuzzle his little nose into your neck.  He has great eye contact and could easily become a "Velcro" dog.

This little guy does not like to be crated.  He is a very responsible pup around the house and is almost house-trained.  What a quick learner!  Shortstop is a kissy kind of dog and will be your best friend in no time.  It is important that people allow him to warm up to them on his own time. He is looking for an adult only home with an experienced dog owner.  Once he gains your trust, he will be your best friend!
