Taffy

Taffy is sweet gentle 5 year old dog that has had a very tough past.  She is a survivor of abuse and is extremely shy and fearful so will need time and patience to trust again. Taffy will need a fenced yard. She is taking Prozac to help recovery and begin the healing process. Taffy is afraid of new people, loud noises and situations, so time, love and understanding will be needed. She gets along with other gentle dogs and cats.  Taffy needs an experienced adult forever home who  understands fearful dogs and is patient, loving, and will take the needed time to build Taffy's confidence. Taffy loves walks, running in the backyard, and gives good communication signals to let you know if she is nervous.

This little girl has so much hope in her heart and needs someone willing to work with her. Taffy loves to be petted and get belly rubs but needs to ease into affection.  She doesn't like to be picked up yet but once she trusts you, Taffy is very loyal. Taffy is five years old, has a full tail, and is probably a Labrador and Cocker Spaniel mix.  Her fur is a beautiful white color and nice and thick. To keep her coat beautiful, she will need to be brushed.  Taffy is on the small side and weighs about 25 pounds. Taffy is in her foster home now and looking for that perfect forever home!
