Dilly joined OBG after his owner passed away and the local shelter reached out to see if we would accept him.  We, of course, scooped up this 9-year-old, 35-pound buff guy!  Dilly loves people and is also good with other dogs, but rumor is that he doesn't care for cats.  Dilly was very sweet to the transporter's children, as well.

Upon arrival, our vets noted his ears were very painful and very stinky!  He immediately went to our specialist who determined that sweet Dilly needed Total Ear Canal Ablations (TECA) surgery for both ears.  Dilly has completely healed since the surgery and, if there is some good news, it is that he won't need ear cleanings!  In the cocker world that is a bonus.  Dilly rides quietly in a car and walks well on the leash.  He can be a little chatty when first left alone or crated so no apartments for this guy.  Our vet also discovered that Dilly has cushing's disease but is being treated with a daily medication.  Dilly is feeling like a new pup after his ear surgery and now starting the new medication. Check out a cute video of Dilly here!
