Jack

Jack is an über cute red-colored cocker mix from a local Maryland shelter.  Jack was part of a cruelty case after neighbors reported that he was not well taken care of by his owners.  Jack's age is a guesstimate but he has good energy so we think he is around 9-10 years old and weighs 24 pounds.  

Jack is good with dogs but we don't know about cats.  He is crate trained and super sweet to everyone.  Jack is looking for a special foster or adopter.  During his dental, a growth was removed from his mouth and biopsy results confirm melanoma with incomplete excision.  Due to the location and the type of cancer, he's on daily medication to help slow the spread of the cancer.
