Johnny Mac

**PUPPY ALERT**  Johnny Mac was a Christmas present that didn’t last long. When the recipient of Johnny Mac decided he didn't need a puppy, he took Johnny to a local North Carolina vet and left him there. We don’t know what Johnny’s life was like before he was given as a gift, but we suspect it wasn’t a kind one. 

Johnny Mac was born at the end of May 2019.  We aren't certain what all he is mixed with, but best guess is Jack Russell Terrier, Brittany Spaniel, Cattle Dog and a whole lot of cute.  Although he is only 22 pounds, he is tall and lanky.  At the advice of the vet, Johnny's foster family is working on putting some weight on him.  

Johnny is nervous in new situations, but even though he is nervous, he is always very sweet and loving to people.  Although he was scared when he first arrived at his foster home, he lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw the other dogs!  He’s having so much fun playing with them and would enjoy another playful pup in his forever home.  He is doing well with his house training and is crate trained.  Johnny is happy, healthy and looking for his forever home.  To learn more, please email his foster at the link below.
