Fozzie

Fozzie is a cute 4 year old, 22 pound fuzzy terrier mix looking for a forever home.  Fozzie has the most beautiful and unique coloring - very cool guy! He is great with people and even gives hugs!  Fozzie was an owner surrender without any reason given so we don't know much about his history.  Fozzie is quickly making himself at home in his foster home. He's alone with the family dog on workdays and there have been no house or other dog issues. He likes getting up high and surveying his territory, so a family who allows dogs on furniture would be good. Fozzie is an active, clever little clown. Full of joy when he comes in from the yard, he flies up over the back of the sofa and lands next to the tv remote. Time for Animal Planet!

Fozzie's house training is stellar.  He is not a chewer, doesn't play with toys. But he does enjoy his meals.  He enjoys short car rides. Fozzie loves the fenced yard, flies out the back door each time it is opened as if it is the first time.  His prey drive is robust: he's probably not good with cats. After just a few days, he's figured out "sit" for treats and his "stay" has gotten better. He sleeps through the night, not a peep. 



Socially, Fozzie is good with older children and adults, but shy at first. His main concern is strange dogs on walks. The ideal home would be where there wasn't much dog traffic on walks.  City or condo living are not ideal for Fozzie.
