Kody

Kody is an approximately 7 years old, 29 pound gorgeous chocolate cocker spaniel.  He has spent his entire life outside and can't wait to enjoy life living inside a home!  Kody is enjoying the indoor life and his foster sister too!  So much so that we think he needs another pup in his forever home.  He is a typical outdoor door as he is surprised and hesitant of ordinary aspect of home life - doorbell, garage door, vacuum cleaner....  But everyday he is more and more brave and learning the wonder of home living!  At this time, Kody isn't a city boy and is looking for a forever home in the suburbs.

Kody is doing very well on his house training and learning it isn't okay to share people's meals.  He sleep through the night and enjoys full access to the home during the day.

Sadly, Kody is heart worm positive and will need life-saving OBG-sponsored treatment what will require at least two visits back to the OBG vet.  OBG covers all expenses of the treatment and can only be adopted locally while undergoing treatment.

Kody is happy to go on short leash walks. He pulls a bit and is shy with strange dogs, but is gaining confidence and enjoys the fenced back yard. Kody is a gentle and sweet-tempered boy who would make a good companion.
