Gypsy

Gypsy's wandering days are behind her, now that she is with OBG!  Gypsy is a 10  year-old sweet, calm girl.  She looks like a mini-golden-collie mix weighing just 21 pounds but needs to gain more weight.  Due to Gypsy's medical, she MUST be adopted locally to an adopter who can make weekly specialty vet appointments in Springfield, VA thru early October.  First, Gypsy needs updated blood work at the end of August and our paws are crossed for good news!  Once we have the results, we hope to schedule Gypsy for Femoral Head Osteotomy (FHO) surgery for at least one hip, but possibly both hips.  OBG covers all medical expenses for the bloodwork and approximately $2600 per hip surgery.  

Gypsy is house trained and good around other pups.  We think she would be fine around cats. She is deaf but has vision and maneuvers around her foster home without any issues.  Gypsy needs a home without steps.  Her ideal home is a calm home with a couple of cozy dog beds where she can snooze away the days.  Gypsy is a really easy senior girl looking for a special adopter.
