Bitsy

Please welcome Bitsy to OBG!  She was found as a stray in southwest Virginia before taking the Freedom Train to northern Virginia.  Bitsy is around 6 years old and 28 pounds.  Although we aren't totally sure on breed, we think she is a catahoula-cattle mix; but whatever it is, she is a real cutie!

Bitsy was a shelter favorite, as she was good with dogs, cats and people too.  We do not recommend children under the age of 8.  Bitsy does cry when initially left alone so she needs a single family home.  We will monitor to see if she settles in and update her bio if it changes.  Bitsy has some arthritis in her hip but evaluated by a surgeon.  The surgeon confirmed no surgery is needed and she'll need to stay on a joint supplement. She walks great!  Bitsy is  house-trained; rides quietly in the car and walks nicely on the leash.
