I'm now a pawmanent member of my foster family! ~ Lumi, now Camille.

Meet Lumi of the Snow Cute Six Spaniels!  Lumi is three years old and 25 pounds.  She is looking for a quiet foster home with a securely fenced yard in the Washington, DC area.  Lumi is very sweet, not aggressive at all but needs time to warm up to you and know she is secure.  She enjoys hanging in her crate and her "safe place".  If you have a quiet home with a fenced yard, please email us at fosters@cockerspanielrescue.com to learn more.  Below is the Snow Cute Six Spaniel's Story: 

The Snow Cute Six Spaniels arrived during the recent flurry of winter weather, and they are just snow cute! We were contacted by a Good Samaritan when a breeder was looking to rehome the pups. Sadly, they have spent their entire lives outdoors without basic medical treatment. Please put your mittens together to warmly welcome Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Krystal, Lumi and Sven! 

As result of the neglect, the Snow Cute Six Spaniels have various medical issues, including worms, severe dental disease, infected ears, matted to the skin fur, and infected skins, and three are heartworm positive! They all need to be altered plus complete vetting, including bloodwork, all vaccines, growth removals, biopsies and chest x-rays for the heartworm-positive pups. We anticipate their medical expenses will exceed $13,000! It breaks our hearts that most are fearful of the human touch, have never walked on a leash before, and were initially very nervous during transport, but they are the sweetest spaniels and no aggression.
