Maverick

Maverick is the cutest 18-pound, 2-year-old shih tzu mix- check him out here!  He struts when he walks!  Maverick is good on the leash, rides quietly in the car and is house trained.  Maverick will bark when he hears noises so is not a good fit for condos or apartments. Maverick's forever home needs a securely fenced yard as he prefers the quiet of the yard vs taking walks in the neighborhood.  He acts like a puppy and still enjoys chewing on things, so he will need training in that area as he learns toys from other things! :)  Maverick is the only pup in his foster home but tested nicely with another dog at the shelter.  He’s sweet, snuggly, and loves toys.  Maverick slept all night curled up in a doggie bed next to the foster’s bed.  Maverick is looking for a kid-free home, and we don’t know about cats yet.  To learn more, please email adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com.
