Kenzie Rae needs a foster home in the northern VA/DC/MD area with a securely fenced yard and a patient foster. Kenzie is around 2-3 years of age and just 15 pounds. If you can foster Kenzie, please email fosters@cockerspanielrescue.com.
Recently we were contacted about nine cockers who were being disposed of by a local breeder. Sadly, they had lived their entire lives crated outside without any love or basic medical care. They arrived scared, matted and super smelly but wanting to trust us. The pups tested positive for hook worms and round worms plus needed all vaccinations, bloodwork, spaying/neutering, and dentals. A couple of the girls have urinary tract infections. Plus, at least two are heart worm positive! Our hearts are breaking as we work to determine their extensive medical needs!
