*PUPPY ALERT* Welcome Penelope (aka Penny) all the way from the British Virgin Islands!   Penny is currently around 10-12 weeks old and 7 pounds. We don’t know the breed for sure, but we think Penny is a chihuahua-terrier mix.  We do know she is, of course, absolutely adorable!   Penny is fostered with other pups and a kitty too. She is a super sweet girl in need of her forever home now.  She loves to snuggle in your arms and be close to hear people.  Penny rides quietly in the car, does great at the vet and walks nicely on the leash.  To learn more, please email adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com.  Penny is located in northern VA.

Before applying for a puppy, please carefully consider the following issues.  Will someone be home every 3-4 hours to let the puppy outside?  Our general rule of thumb is that if a dog needs to be crated more than 6 hours/day total, then that dog is the wrong one for the person's lifestyle.  We do not adopt puppies more than 1-2 hours outside of the Washington DC area (we will adopt to Richmond and Baltimore).
