Blossom is an adorable 4-year-old girl whose family suffered the devastating loss of their home. Not only is Blossom stunning in the fur, she truly brings joy wherever she goes. Before coming to OBG, Blossom was in a very temporary foster home with several dogs. She did quite well with the other dogs and we feel that a home with another dog or where she can be the "queen bee" would suit her. We also believe that she may do well in a condo/townhouse living situation. She doesn't seem to do a lot of "talking" and quietly greets strangers so would probably not disturb neighbors by barking.

Since she is so new to OBG, we do not have first hand knowledge on how she feels about cats or kids. She is a very kissy girl and loves to snuggle and be close to her person. Blossom is also no stranger to relaxing on the couch and we suspect that she slept in bed with her former family.

Blossom is a sweet girl with impeccable leash manners and she would love to be your new walking buddy. Blossom also appears to be very housebroken. If you would like to know more about Blossom, please email us today!

Update: 3/6/12: A lump was recently found on Blossom's right shoulder. Our vets did a biopsy and found it to be a mast cell tumor. Blossom had immediate major surgery to remove the tumor and is recovering nicely. Our vet is confident that she got the entire tumor with clean margins. Prognosis on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best, our vet believes Blossom is 1 that the tumor will not recur. Adopter will still need to monitor closely. Blossom is also being treated for an ear infection and itchy skin.
